The simplest answer is YES! Now, you may have circumstances that make this a difficult time to sell, but for the most part houses are in demand and there’s a buyer out there looking for a home like yours. Spring is a time for Mother Nature to brighten our landscape with colorful blooms and warmer air, and an exciting transformation takes place in Northern Virginia real estate, too. This is the time of year when many Virginia home owners in Gainesville, Warrenton, Leesburg and across the region, transform into home sellers. Jobs and the military transfer families out of the area, city dwellers move to Northern Virginia for more land and better schools, children graduate and get roommates, and sometimes home owners just want a new view.
HOMES GOING UNDER CONTRACT QUICKLY IN NORTHERN VIRGINIA
What’s a home sellers without a buyers? Luckily, you and I don’t need to worry about that: They are out there and they’re looking for homes. Metro Washington real estate economists have noted that supply is in short supple, that builders aren’t creating new inventory to meet buyer’s demand and existing inventory inventory is scarce. I can see this is the case just based on my own business. Four homes I recently listed for sale in different Northern Virginia communities have been scooped up by buyers almost as soon as each of them hit the market. In fact, they were all under contract by the 4th day of listing!
